Testimonials
Here's what the class of 2023 had to say!
“Trauma Care Courses are ideal for UK practice and are more relevant than ATLS courses reflecting USA practice.”
Vincent Argent
First Responder
“I really enjoyed it! It was amazing to have a mixed skill and background set, and I learned a lot from my peers during this weekend. It changed my view about trauma completely. Thank you very much!”
Laura Cairns
Registered Nurse
“Ryan's acting skills? Absolutely incredible. Josh's hair? Also, incredible.”
Francesca Owen
Student Paramedic
“The engagement between the faculty and delegates was very good. Being able to talk to a range of clinicians in formal and informal settings really added value to the whole event.”
Bradley Smith
Paramedic

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Our 2024 course has been designed for medical students, student HCPS, newly qualified medics and AHPs, first responders, medics in fire/police and other emergency services who care for trauma patients at any stage of their injury: From Roadside to Rehab.
To gain your Certificate of Attendance, yes. Besides, most of the simulations happen on Day Two!
The on-site accommodation at Yarnfield must be booked and paid for separately. Simply ring Yarnfield at (+44)01785 762605 and quote "Trauma Care." B&B starts at £65 per room. If you stay on-site, you can join us for the course social in the evening. This is the perfect chance to relax, grab a drink, and chat with the faculty and fellow delegates in a no-pressure environment. Discussions over drinks can be incredibly impactful, and we have found in the past that delegates who join us for the evening have walked away having had the most meaningful conversations.
This is a series of videos related to the course, with a feedback form to complete at the end as proof of viewing. Though watching all the videos before the event is not compulsory, we would strongly advise doing so - as some of the lessons relate directly to the content!
If your course/trust booked a ticket for you, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address under which they booked.

ABOUT US
Trauma Care was founded in 1996 to address the need for commonly agreed standards of the best clinical practice in the management of trauma. We aim to improve the outcome of the trauma victim by establishing best practice throughout the whole chain of care. We achieve this through education, research and publishing. No other organisation encompasses the diverse specialties involved in the care of trauma victims from the moment of injury, to the return to active life.
